Motorola Smart Controller Gets Demoed; On Offer Now

Remember hearing about the Motorola Smart Controller? The wireless pointing device introduced back in October? Okay, the name has popped up yet again, and this time it has been spotted in the accessories list of the Droid RAZR.

The Motorola Smart Controller is now being made available for a price of $99 at Motorola Stores. The device connects with the phone via Bluetooth.

The remote control can also be used to make and receive calls via the dedicated call button on the backside.

At the recent CES venue, Motorola had displayed the Motorola Smart Controller paired with an 8.2-inch Xyboard. This means that the device is compatible with Moto’s family of tablets too.

It comes with a microphone, a trackpad and four Android navigation buttons to control the device. The full navigation and pinch-to-zoom feature make the browsing experience cool on the tablet tethered with the TV.

It responds to voice commands, which means you can control the actions by commanding it.  Using the multi-touchpad, you can easily enjoy apps, movies and photos on the HDTV or monitor connected to the Android device. Fingers can be used to scroll the web pages and apps on the screen.
