It looks like Nissan is letting the automotive world have glimpses of their New 2013 Altima just to create some speculations and of course publicity along with it. The car has been teased 3 times till today and the design form the videos look absolutely spectacular.
The new Altima is expected to be charged with a CVT for improved fuel economy boost and a hybrid version with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery also come his way into the market.
The current 2.5-liter four cylinder engine would be put to more advancements, but Nissan should follow in the footsteps ofToyota, maintaining a V-6 option for high-end models.
Hyundai and General Motors have cut the V6 midsize sedan lineups. Putting four turbo power to the front wheels is a new CVT, which has been redesigned to better fuel economy and improved version 2.5 of the offer have liter four-cylinder refinement.
The new fifth-generation Altima is expected to make its Australian debut in 2013, when it will replace the ailing Maxima in Nissan’s local line-up.
A racing version of the Altima’s design is also expected to represent the Nissan brand when the Japanese carmaker entersAustralia’s V8 Supercar Championship in 2013.
