Superman-Batman Movie Postponed to 2016

Superman-Batman movieWarner Bros on Friday announced its decision to postpone the release of Zack Snyder’s untitled Batman-Superman movie to May 6, 2016.

Warner Bros said the move would give the filmmakers time to fully  realize their vision, given the complex visual nature of the story.

The news comes out after the production starring Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck was being pushed to the second quarter of 2014.

In the latest statement, Warner Bros said the announced Joe Wright’s live-action untitled Peter Pan adventure will only release by July 17, 2015.

Dan Fellman, Warner Bros. President of Domestic Distribution, said they are aware of the anticipation building for the next Super Hero film from Zack Snyder, and that they are thrilled as well.

He says that they are waiting to see what is in store for Superman and Batman as they share the big screen for the first time. The summer release is also perfect for Joe Wright’s Peter Pan adventure, that recreates the ageless story of the child hero.
