Kochi: The ongoing Kochi Metro project has given itself a new identity with the unveiling of a new logo and the final designs of the coach. The new unveiling was done by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy who evaluated the project process in Kochi on Thursday.
As part of the inspection organized, the Chief Minister arrived at the Kochi Metro project sites at Aluva, Muttom Yard, CUSAT and Kalamassery and evaluated the construction activities at these sites.
Chandy was accompanied by Power and Transport Minister Aryadan Muhammed, Public Works Minister V K Ebrahim Kunju, DMRC Chief Advisor E Sreedharan, Kochi Metro Rail MD Elias George, GCDA chairman N Venugopal and others.
Post-evaluation, the Chief Minister stated that the progress of work is satisfactorily on and that the project will reach completion in a time bound manner.
The project designed by KMRL consultants Alstom has Alexis as its design consultancy.
