Vellappally Calls for Contempt Case against Sudheeran for Criticizing Court

Thiruvananthapuram: Close on the heels of KPCC president V M Sudheeran expressed displeasure at the manner the Kerala High Court granted anticipatory bail to Vellappally Natesan, the SNDP Yogam general secretary called for filing of a contempt of court case against the KPCC chief.

The court had granted bail in a case filed against Vellapally Natesan for his allegedly inflammatory speech at Aluva.

The court granting anticipatory bail to Natesan in the case did not go down well with Sudheeran, who alleged that the court considered the bail plea without examining the case diary. Stating that bail came at an inopportune time, Sudheeran stressed that the court assessed the case considering the plea of the accused.

Lashing out at Sudheeran for his statement, Vellapally Natesan stated that the KPCC chief’s stand showed only his pettiness, and called for the filing of a contempt of court case against him.
