Thiruvananthapuram: The BJP State President, Kummanam Rajasekharan, has stressed again today the authenticity of the video that purportedly shows a jubilant march of CPM workers after the murder of RSS activist at Payyannur recently. Commenting on the video posted by him on social media, Kummanam said that he’s not afraid of facing a case in this issue and ready to go to jail.
However, the brief video that had gone viral on social media platforms lacks evidences that the people in it were CPM members or they were celebrating the death of RSS activist Biju.
Meanwhile, Muhammed Siraj, SFI District President, Kannur lodged a complaint to the Chief Minister and the DGP against the video posted by Kummanam.
In the complaint, Siraj alleged that Kummanam had spread a fake video that shows CPM activists celebrate the murder of an RSS activist, and through the video, he had tried to foment conflicts between the CPM and the RSS in Kannur district.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had told in the State Assembly that the posting of the video was illegal and a case would be charged against Kummanam if necessary.
