Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala unit of the BJP today lambasted the CPI (M) and the Muslim League for spreading misinformation against BJP President Amit Shah. The two parties had stated that Amit Shah’s visit aimed at instigating communal violence in the State.
Addressing a press conference in the Kerala capital, BJP State General Secretary MT Ramesh said the false campaigns by the opponents were due to their worry over BJP’s growing presence in the state.
Stating that the party mechanism will be strengthened from the booth level, he said as many as 6,000 party functionaries will be assigned for this task in the coming months.
Alleging that both Congress-led UDF and CPI (M)-led LDF were misusing the Assembly platform for passing anti-Centre resolutions on every issue which is not concerned with the people, he said this would not be the case after the Assembly elections in 2021 as the party will form a government in the state.
