Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala has bettered the Ministers, including the Chief Minister, in his official mobile phone bill amount, which comes around Rs 6,559 in April alone. The government paid the bill amount of April to the BSNL.
The details of the mobile bill of Ministers and Chennithala were revealed from the bill documents of April. Interestingly, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s mobile phone bill of April is Rs 1,068. Among the Ministers, Co- Operation Minister Kadakampally Surendran has the most highest usage of mobile phone, and the bill is Rs 3,550.
Finance Minister Thomas Issac comes second in mobile bill, Rs 1,999, Law Minister A.K. Balan, who stands third, has a bill amount of Rs 1, 903, and in fourth place is Minister K.T. Jaleel, who has a bill amount of 1,286 in April.
Ministers like J. Mercykutty Amma, K.K. Shylaja, M.M. Mani, C. Ravindranath, A.C. Moideen, V.S. Sunil Kumar, P. Thilothaman, T.P. Ramakrishnan and K. Raju have the minimum usage of mobile phone and the bill is Rs 622.
The April mobile phone bills of other Ministers are the following: Mathew T. Thomas-Rs 855, E. Chandrasekharan- Rs 627 and Kadannappally Ramachandran—Rs 624.
