Chennai: Kollywood’s ace filmmaker Selvaraghavan’s upcoming movie “Nenjam Marapathillai” will be released on June 30. The film is said to be a horror thriller. Selvaraghavan took to his Twitter space yesterday evening to make the announcement saying, “A brand new trailer of our film #NenjamMarappathillai is Releasing Tomorrow at 7pm. Movie releasing on 30th June! Stay tuned! #SelvaYuvan,”.
A new trailer of the movie will be out today at 7 pm. Actor-director SJ Surya dons the lead role in the movie, which will have Regina Cassandra and Nandita Swetha as heroines.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music for the film. Gautham Menon produces the flick under the banner Ondraaga Entertainments along with Madan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures.
Earlier, the film was scheduled to release on June 23. Later, considering the pre-release of STR’s “AAA” and Jayam Ravi’s “Vanamagan,” the release date has been changed to avoid box office clash.
Meanwhile, Selvaraghavan’s next film “Mannavan Vanthanadi” will have actor Santhanam in the lead. Aaditi Pohankar is the female lead. Some portions of the film will be shot in Armenia, according to sources.
Speaking to an online portal, Santhanam said “Mannavan Vanthanadi” will be a jolly version of the director’s earlier film “7G Rainbow Colony.”
Reports suggest that the story will be set against in the IT backdrop. While Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music, Loganathan Srinivasan is handling the cinematography.
