Bengaluru: A weekly special train on special fare will run between Ernakulam and Banaswadi. Train No.06041 / 06042 will leave Ernakulam at 8.15pm on Sundays and arrives at Banaswadi at 8am the next day.
The first service of the train from Ernakulam is scheduled tomorrow and the last service will be on October 1, said a press release here today.
Train No.06042 Banaswadi- Ernakulam Weekly Special will leave Banaswadi at 11pm on Monday and arrives at Ernakulam at 10.30 am the next day.
The first service of the train from Banaswadi will start on July 17 and the last service will be on October 2.
En route, the train will have stoppages at Aluva, Thrissur, Ottappalam, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode Jn, Salem Jn, Tirupattur, Bangarpet, Krishnarajapuram and Baiyyappanahalli in both directions.
The train will have a composition of 1 Two-Tier AC coach, 3 Three- Tier AC coaches, 13 Three-Tier Second Class Sleeper coaches, 2 General Second Class coaches and 2 Second Class Sitting cum Luggage Vans.
