Natasha Suri Gets Busy with More Work Lined Up

Mumbai: Former Miss India and event host Natasha Suri will appear in the Excel Entertainment-produced Inside Edge web series and in the upcoming film Baa Baa Blackship along with Anupam Kher and Manish Paul, scheduled to release by the year-end.

Asked about difference in modeling industry and acting in television and films, she said: “I am a fashion model and I have walked the ramp for many fashion events and pageants. It is glamorous and all, but it is restricted only to the fashion and glamour industry. However, appearing in television and films is a different ball game altogether, because film and television has a wider reach and people from every corner of the world are watching your work and giving you feedback through mails and social media. This makes it kind of easy to judge your capacities as an actor and push yourself harder to better the craft.”

Natasha Suri1Natasha Suri had debuted in the Malayalam film ‘King Liar’ and her upcoming debut Hindi films is ‘Baa Baa Black Ship’.

“I signed both these films around the same time, one of them is Malayalam film ‘King Liar’ with big superstar down south – Dileep – and that movie became a super hit so fans still appreciate my work after seeing that film through social media.”

“My debut Hindi film ‘Baa Baa Black Ship’ will release around the end of this year. I am working with Anupam Kher, Anu Kapoor, Kay Kay Menon, Manish Paul and Manjari Fadnis. So to be part of that film with such amazing veteran actors is an honor for new actress like me,” Natasha was quoted as saying by News Helpline.

Natasha also working Excel Entertainment’s produced Inside Edge web series which is airing on Amazon Prime videos, talking about her character in series, she said: “It is based on scandals and power game happening in cricket, Bollywood, glamour industry. My character in that series is of powerful mysterious woman and no one will be able to guess what is going to happen with that character till the end. So apart from that, I can’t reveal much about it”.
