Mumbai: Nawazuddin Siddiqui, one of the most prolific actors in Indian cinema, has raised some serious concerns on social media with his Tweet.
Taking to Twitter, Nawazuddin, whose performances are nothing short of magic on silver screen, wrote: “Thank you for making me realise that I cannot be paired along with the fair and handsome, because I am dark and not good looking. But I never focus on that.”
The message is loud and clear, but it is still unclear what instigated Nawazuddin to put it out on social media and who he was referring to?
The main male lead has always been fair, tall and handsome in India cinema, which is a pretty much biased norm, said News Helpline.
Hansal Mehta, the most celebrate filmmaker of our times, replied to Nawaz’s tweet stating that his looks make him Special.
Hansal tweeted: “That’s why you are special Nawaz.”

Nawazuddin also feature in “Babumoshai Bandookbaaz”, which is an upcoming action thriller film directed by Kushan Nandy, the film also features Bengali actress Bidita Bag in the lead roles. The movie is slated to release on August 25.
