AIDWA National Seminar on Secularism on July 21

Kozhikode: Communist Party of India (Marxist) Politburo member Brinda Karat would inaugurate a national seminar organized by All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) on ‘Women Collective for Secularism’ here on July 21.

Announcing the event, AIDWA Secretary P Sathidevi and Reception Committee Convener K Jameela said the motive of the seminar, part of a campaign across Kerala, was to rally women, accounted more than half of the population in the country, cutting across caste and religious affiliation.

The seminar to be held at Tagore Centenary Hall in the city, they said.
