Kozhikode: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Executive Committee member and former State unit President P.K. Krishna Das today sought the intervention of CPI (M) Central leaders into the continued attacks on his party offices in the State.
Holding CPI (M) State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan responsible for the attacks, he also sought action against him.
Talking to reporters here he alleged that factionalism-ridden CPI (M) was let loosing violence on BJP cadre and party offices in the State.
“Kodiyeri is apparently taken a decision not to allow Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to function effectively by hatching conspiracy to attack BJP offices and cadre across the State,” he said. “The motive of Kodiyeri is nothing else but to prove that Vijayan is an inefficient Chief Minister.”
Das said no arrest had been made so far in the case relating to throwing of bomb on BJP district committee office in Thiruvananthapuram recently.
“Eight BJP leaders were done to death in a couple of months allegedly by CPI (M) men even after convening of an all party peace meet by the CM,” he added.
