Kunchako Boban Starrer “Varnyathil Aasanka” in Theatres on Aug. 4

Thiruvananthapuram: Actor Kunchako Boban’s new film Varnyathil Aasanka will hit the screens on August 4. The film is directed by Sidharth Bharathan, who completed the film after recovering  from a car accident last year. His last film Chandrettan Evideya with actor Dileep was a hit.

This is the third directorial of Sidharth, after Nidra and Chandrettan Evideya. The film will have Kunchacko Boban in a never-before seen avatar. He will be playing a thief, Kavatta Sivan, with a long beard and ruffian look.

Last month, the actor posted a new photograph on his social media page in the look of his character Kavtta Sivan, and captioned it, “katta local, katta koothara, Kavta Sivan, a funny ground level character.” The film is a satirical take on the present-day politics and life.

Produced by M.E. Usman under the banner Ashiq Usman Productions, the movie is scripted by Thrissur Gopalji.
The ensemble cast includes Shine Tom Chacko, Rachana Narayanankutty, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Chemban Vinod and Jayaraj Warrier.

Jayesh Nair is the cinematographer of the film and Bavan Sreekumar is the editor. Prashanth Pillai composes tunes to the lyrics of Santhosh Varma.
