Hong Kong Govt Inks Pact with UST Global Singapore

Kochi: The Hong Kong Government has signed a Standing Offer Agreement with UST Global (Singapore) Pte Ltd. for quality professional services for the supply of information technology services to all of its 80-plus Bureaus and Departments.

As per the pact, the firm, which is a subsidiary of UST Global Inc., will be participating in the provision of the Category 1 Pre-implementation Services such as Departmental Information Technology Planning and Feasibility and Technical Study, and also Independent Programme/Project Management Services and Category 2 Ongoing IT professional Services for System Maintenance and Support and Network Support for the Hong Kong Government departments between July 31, 2017 and July 30, 2021.

The contract was awarded by the Government Chief Information Officer, Allen Yeung, at a function held in Hong Kong on July 17.

Commenting on the agreement, Gilroy Mathew, GM – APAC, UST Global Inc, said that it is a testimony to the firm’s continuous growth and investment into their Digital Transformation initiatives within the APAC region.
