Thiruvananthapuram: Internshala, the internship and training platform, has launched the eighth edition of its Internshala Student Partner (ISP) programme to build the leaders of tomorrow.
ISP is a six-month-long virtual internship programme, which would help students develop leadership qualities, enhance their soft skills and sharpen their business and marketing acumen, according to a press release.
While learning new skills, students will also build a culture of meaningful internships on their campuses. A silent revolution of internships is taking place in India and the ISPs are the torchbearers of this revolution on their campuses, it said.
Internshala first started the ISP programme in 2014 with 250 student leaders. In the eighth edition, the platform will select three students from every college in India with an overall goal to select 10,000 student leaders.
This intensive learning and development programme is open to students from all backgrounds.
“As a platform striving to build a culture of internships in India, meaningful experiences for students have been to the central theme of our journey. Through ISP, our focus is to give students a holistic learning experience in a structured manner and groom them to be the future leaders,” said Sarvesh Agrawal, founder and CEO of Internshala, said. “In ISP 8.0, we would also make specific efforts to reach out to students in Tier 2/3 cities so as to take the opportunities closer to them.”
