New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who impressed cinegoers with his performances in “M S Dhoni: The Untold Story” and “PK,” has opted out of a big budget film “RAW,” trade sources said. The trade sources said makers of “RAW” or “Romeo Akbar Walter” have decided to mutually part ways with Sushant Singh Rajput due to unavoidable circumstances.
The makers behind the project-Kyta productions, VA film company and Red Ice Films-have mutually parted ways with the actor.
The trade sources said the decision to mutually part ways was taken after the producers had an amicable discussion with the actor.
In a statement, producer Ajay Kapoor said, “Yes, after mutual discussions, we will be parting ways with Sushant for “RAW.” We wish Sushant all the best for his future film projects and look forward to working with him in the future.”
In a statement, Sushant said, “Unfortunately, due to changes in my prior commitments, I will not be able to be a part of “Romeo Akbar Walter.” I wanted to be a part of the project because I love the story and I believe it’s a story which must be told. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, I won’t be a part of this journey. I wish the producers all the very best for the project.”
A big budget film “RAW” or “Romeo Akbar Walter” was planned with Sushant in the lead as a special agent.
