Thiruvananthapuram: FabLab Kerala, promoted by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), will conduct a workshop series on the topic “Introduction to Digital Fabrication” from October 28 to December 23 (on six Saturdays).
The workshops are designed to give an overview of all the rapid prototyping capabilities of a Fab facility. Participants will get to work on various prototyping methods like 3D printing, laser cutting, screen printing, designing and fabricating custom printed circuit boards and CNC milling using 3-axis large format CNC milling machine in this hands-on workshop series.
FabLab will organise the workshops at its facility on Technopark campus in the capital city and the Kerala Technology Innovation Zone at North Kalamassery in Ernakulam during this period. The duration of these workshops will be four hours — from 10 am to 5 pm.
